Our Ethos

We believe the way most organisations develop their people is broken.

The leadership workshop that sits in a silo.

The wellness initiative that gets rolled out once and forgotten.

The expectation that good people will just figure it out under pressure, and if they can't, that's a them problem.

We started Wellbiz because we'd both seen what happens when organisations stop defaulting to those old models and actually invest in their people as whole human beings. Performance improves. People stay. Culture shifts from the inside out.

That's what we're here to build with you.

Why together

Most organisations hire a leadership consultant or a wellness provider. Rarely both, and almost never in a way that connects the two.

When Gen and Ben work with an organisation together, the impact compounds. Leaders are developing self-awareness and sustainable performance at the same time their teams are being supported through the human stuff that sits underneath the numbers. The culture shifts because both layers are being addressed simultaneously, not in separate silos six months apart.

That's the Wellbiz difference. And it's why the organisations that commit to the integrated approach see results that a single-focus program simply can't deliver.

What we stand for

We believe the default model of organisational development is overdue for dismantling.

We're here to work with the organisations ready to do it differently. The ones where leadership genuinely believes their people are worth investing in, as the actual foundation of everything the business is trying to build.

If that's your organisation, let's talk.

MEET our wellness facilitator and performance coach

hi, I'm Ben

I live in Brisbane and I’ve been involved in Wellness Facilitation since 2015.

Since moving to Australia, I have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Sport Science as well as various Wellness Coaching qualifications. My background enables me to work with businesses and individuals at improving their health and wellbeing. I create programs for companies who want to enable their staff to fulfil their potential by being ‘at their best’.

I grew up in the north east of England in a city called Sunderland. I was an active child and participated at a high level in both soccer and cricket, earning national recognition. My involvement in team sports from an early age instilled me with an excellent understanding for what is required to be a successful organisation and what it takes to manage teams effectively.

During high school, I lost my father to a long-term illness which had a significant impact on me. I became withdrawn, suffered a huge loss in confidence and developed anxiety and panic attacks that affected my schooling and adolescent years in general. Around the same time, my school was involved in an extremely traumatic period which only heightened the issues that I was experiencing. Struggling to cope, I was referred to specialist counsellors and behavioural therapists to help me overcome my issues.

These people aided in changing my awareness and outlook on how the mind works and more importantly, that every person is unique and therefore needs to be communicated to in a different way to maximise their development and potential to succeed.

I’m also available to help individual clients to reach goals by helping them overcome any obstacles that life has thrown their way.

MEET program designer & leadership coach

hi, I'm Gen

I’m an active Mum, with a sweet tooth, who loves my dogs and enjoys a night in with my favourite people.

I’m born and bred in Queensland, but I grew up in a bilingual, immigrant family. I was also diagnosed with a neurodiverse condition and PTSD in high school. As a result, I learnt to navigate through this, build my own coping mechanisms and find holistic ways to heal, resolve and support myself and the relationships I built in my adult life.

This led me down a pathway of educating myself in life coaching, neuroscience, organisational psychology and other modalities related to personal development and holistic wellness.

I have been working in the areas of people and culture, particularly in roles such as training, coaching, culture, team and leadership development. These passions evolved into a love for building and implementing talent and culture strategies for people and businesses.

I work with clients in a consulting capacity as an organisational development expert that supports by building learning programs that engage, retain and provide great learning experiences for their people.

I love that I get to work with such diverse groups and designing programs that will support engaging experiences as well as people feeling more aligned and satisfied in their work and life.

I’m also available to partner with clients to work on strategy, leadership development or culture change that support your new wellness initiatives.
